Smaller then his Green cousin, he grows up to two feet long. Though not typically aggressive, he's lightning fast with poor vision, often taking a liking to divers and like other Moray may even rub against divers as he swims by. Do not confuse this with friendship though, he's just passing off parasites present on his smooth skin.

Ragazzi che giornate.. il bello di avere lavori grossi a bordo è quando tutto inizia a dipanarsi. Come quando hai una matassa di filo ingarbugliato in mano e pian pianino inizi a fare ordine. All'inizio ti demoralizzi, vorresti lasciare tutto lì com'è. Poi pensi a cosa servirà quel filo e porti la tua pazienza a un livello superiore. Oggi siamo arrivati al punto in cui resta solo un piccolo nodo. Domani, infatti, collauderemo la filtrazione dell'acqua di mare per renderla acqua potabile. Ancora sembra strano pensare di non dover più dipendere da acqua dolce a terra, ma avere il mare come risorsa idrica potabile. È inevitabile fare riflessioni quando si fanno questi lavori. Almeno a noi vengono proprio naturali! Domani vi faremo sapere se avremo magicamente trasformato le prime gocce d'acqua salata in acqua dolce senza pronunciare alcuna formula magica ma premendo un bottone!

For its sixth edition, the CMC hasn't set the record the number of participants, with 23 multihulls registered. On the other hand, the atmosphere both on and off the water has never been better. The trade winds, in fine form at between 20 and 25 knots, undoubtedly had something to do with it... The five entrants in CSA 1 enjoyed superb courses towards Saba, Saint-Barts and Anguilla. The HH66 Lee Overlay Partners (ex Nemo) put on a great show, impressively flying a hull and, above all, peak speeds pushing 30 knots. The Gunboat 72 Layla was not to be outdone, with her GPS recording a top speed of 24.5 knots. The La Grande-Motte shipyard's first flybridge catamaran won the overall race on corrected time. The Diam 24 fleet was of course severely tested by the choppy conditions, but there too, they put on quite a show. In this fury of spray and exciting runs, the crew of Anomaly came out on top, leaving their rivals with no chance of a rematch. For the past two years, the CMC has been running a second division called Rally. This year, the 9 participants were accompanied - and looked after - by our Marketing Director Gwen Dorning. The fleet headed to Phillipsburg, where beach games were organized on the first day, followed by a fireworks display in the bay, then headed for Anse Marcel and finally Saint-Barts - a dream program which is already scheduled for next year, with dates running from January 29 to February 1. ?
