Understanding what your triggers are, is deeply important for emotional wellness. Here is a closer examination of the five most common triggers that impact us daily: 1. 📢Sound: Many sounds, such as screams or specific music, can have a very emotional impact or bring back memories, bringing the past in through the body's consciousness. 2. 👃Smell : Smell is strongly associated with memory. A familiar smell from a perfume or food can bring back an important memory, good or bad. 3. 🌃Place: Sometimes places can have psychological effects. Returning to the spot of a tragic event may bring back those feelings of fear or anxiety. 4. 👥People: This sometimes leaves one with fear or anxiety, especially when related to previous adverse experiences. 5. 🤝Touch: It also evokes extremely strong reactions. Something that is safe to feel when embraced warmly may be painful if not invited. Knowing these triggers will help you overcome them much better. You can be empowered by knowing what makes you tick to heal more effectively.

North Sails and Water Tribe have formed a powerful partnership and are working together on the ‘Free The Sea’ project in order to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans from plastic pollution. Since 2001, Water Tribe has been a leading tour operator in the creation of tourism services mainly related to the world of sailing. They offer a wide range of itineraries and fun activities aimed at young people, adults and families for sailing adventures all over the world. This summer, Water Tribe is sailing around Greece. Sailing enthusiasts and crew members will be involved in awareness-raising activities, including beach cleaning operations aimed at fostering a new sense of understanding and consumer education to change and protect our oceans from plastic pollution. Everyone will be provided with a North Sails bag for collecting plastic waste on the beaches and also a stylish ‘Free The Sea’ t-shirt from our capsule collection. This collection is made from recycled materials, specifically Recover Blue – an innovative yarn created from 100% recycled cotton and PET bottles. During the trips, non- compostable bags and single-use plastic objects, including glasses, plates and, straws, will all be banned on board. Water reserves will also be optimised by using 10-litre bottles that will reduce plastic by 90%. We are looking forward for the next one! #GoBeyondPlastic Follow us on: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NorthSailsCollection/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/northsails_collection/
