Yesterday we performed a phase out inspection from charter management for the owner. After the inspection on the mooring, a sea trials on engine and sails was carried out, after which the sailboat was taken out. In a few days we will return for a visual inspection of the underwater part, measurement of capillary moisture and inspection with a thermal camera.

A gale suddenly blows into the bay but, the sailboat storm anchor holds fast. A day of intense gusts and anxious moments, but Vie Sauvage holds steady with her over-sized anchor. Too much anchor is better than too little in my limited experience.
