Gusty winds returning from the Little Choptank river forced us to put two reefs into the main but that did not slow us down. We cruised home to Solomons averaging 8 knots and hitting 9.5+ knots in the gust. It was a great sail and allowed us to iron the wrinkle out. :)

Solo trip to Dartmouth as a shakedown for Thalmia (the yacht) and Derek (the skipper) - mostly the latter who needed to remember how to manage a 32ft boat singlehanded. Moored to a visitors buoy at Dittisham. Mostly all good - few exceptions which I will cover in a subsequent video!
