Tschüss 2 Claims IRC Super Zero Victory at the 2025 Rolex Fastnet Race Christian Zugel’s Tschüss 2 (USA70000), co-skippered by Johnny Mordaunt, has taken the win in the highly competitive IRC Super Zero division at the centenary edition of the Rolex Fastnet Race. The VO70 completed the iconic offshore course in an elapsed time of 2 days, 17 hours, and 21 minutes, crossing the finish line off Cherbourg at 05:11 BST on 29 July 2025. With a TCC of 1.617, Tschüss 2 corrected out to a final time of 4 days, 9 hours, and 40 minutes — edging ahead of high-calibre rivals including Roy Disney’s Pyewacket 70 and the 30m Leopard 3, skippered by Chris Sherlock. The win caps off an outstanding season for the former Groupama 4 VO70, originally skippered by Franck Cammas in the Volvo Ocean Race. En esta ocasión salí a navegar aún de noche a las 6am, aquí ya eran las 9am y el mar estaba muy fuerte, entre 25 nudos y rachas de 40 nudos con olas de entre 3 y 4 metros. Me lo pasé muy bien. Mi intención era navegar a otra isla a unas 70 millas Náuticas, pero después de 4 horas decidí dar la vuelta y buscar refugio en el muelle más cercano.
