We’re mixing up a Rum Old Fashioned! 🥃🍊🔥 This twist on a classic combines rich rum, aromatic bitters, and a touch of sweetness. Watch the magic unfold!✨✨ Cheers!! Drink responsibly! Ingredients 2 oz dark rum 2 dashes Angostura Bitters 1 dash Peychaud’s Bitters 1-2 tsp sugar/a sugar cube Ice Steps Add the sugar cube/granulated sugar and bitters to a rocks glass. Muddle the mix until the sugar dissolves. Add rum then stir for around 60 seconds. Add ice then stir for another 60 seconds Cut a piece of orange peel about the size of your thumb (be careful not to bend it). We were able to find items at Hillside Food Supply at Long Island Bahamas that we were not able to find back at George Town. The market is very close to the Dinghy dock which is a private dock, but made graciously available to cruisers. Take a left on Queens Highway at the top of the street (Basil Street) and the market is on the right less than a 1/4 mile down the road. The variety at this food market is awesome. Perfect stop for provisioning going south. Long Islanad Bahamas is a really cool island and a ton to see.
