Shortly after the start of Race 2 of the 2024 Narrow Regatta the J109 going to read was shown a clean pair of heals from a rampaging VX1 that glided by to leeward with speed. The further the VX1 punched out into the middle of the narrows the more left to right of tide she picked up, allowed her to put and and front and disappear do the the race track. As part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, Holland America Line's flag ship Rotterdam retraced her steps and made an Eastbound transatlantic crossing 150 years to the day after the historic first voyage. After leaving New York the first port of call was our home town of Plymouth in South West England. We went along to see the amazing welcome given to guests by the Cruise Plymouth volunteers as well as taking a look of this stunning ship moored off Plymouth's historic shore line.
