Our leather wrapped steering wheels were in poor condition after years of baking in the sun with little to no conditioner. Today was the day to recondition them and being them back to life. They aren’t perfect but much better than how they started 🤪 @sailingeriskay It’s a task worth undertaking which required much elbow grease and dedicated time to bring them back to life. I’m not a professional leather restorer but simply used techniques I had seen on YouTube. ** Infinity Expedition lands in Auckland after 2 weeks offshore*** What a view! - Watch in Full HD We had a tranquil passage from Vanuatu, with light but consistent winds. Land ahoy was the word when we first spotted land, what a feeling! Arrival was in the first hours of the morning, sun raising behind us, and on the distance the skyscrapers. Quite a shock for most of the crew, after months in the tropical South Pacific. Auckland is our home for the next few weeks, while we get ready for our next Journey - Antarctica!
