It starts in Colombia before we set sail for the absolute spectacle of islands known as the San Blas Islands of Panama, then we make several stops along the Panama coast, including a stop at the Panama Canal and Panama City where we put our feet in the Pacific Ocean for the first time! From there we take you on a ride to the remote islands of San Andres and Providencia in the middle of the Caribbean Sea which are owned by Colombia, before sailing through the pirate waters of Nicaragua to make landfall at another tiny island paradise north of Honduras! In one year’s time a new era will begin for the world’s largest offshore yacht race. On 8 August 2021, the Rolex Fastnet Race will set sail from Cowes bound for the Fastnet Rock as usual, but then, once the boats have rounded Bishop Rock, they will, for the first time in the race’s 96 year history, point their bows towards Cherbourg, the new finish for the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s premier event. #RolexFastnetRace
