This 1995 Bayliner 2859 Express Classic is a nice clean example with some nice options. Powered with a 7.4 litre Mercruiser with a Bravo 2 Sterndrive. It can sleep 6 with a spacious aft cabin and v-berth and table that converts to a double. It has everything you need for a weekend away, presurised hot and cold water, fridge, stove, 140 watt solar panel with Victron battery monitor and diesel forced air heat. Comes with a ridged hull inflatable with a 15hp motor. A Lowrance plotter sounder and Radar will help you get there and once there the windlass makes anchoring a breeze. Killyleagh Yacht Club turned on the weather for the second open event of the the Strangford Lough summer of sailing. With sixteen boats on the starting line for the YTC 1 races there was close racing throughout the whole of the fleet. Race 1 was a close shoot out between the Mat1010 Elixir, J109 GTR and the local A35 for Mike Spence Le Basceleur. With the lead swapping many times both on corrected time and over the water it was Le Basceleur that came out on top closely followed by the Redline Racing team on the J109 GTR. The other day we had a sneak peek at the design, and we absolutely love it! It’s going to be big, but we’re confident Vela can pull off the look. 💁🏼♀️ Soon, we’ll be test-fitting the tubes! Fingers crossed, we’ll have it installed before splashing in late March. 🫣🤞 What do you think of the design?
