AThe 25-knot north winds are finally letting up, and it’s time to move. Tomorrow, we leave Bimini aboard our Island Packet 320, Salty Abandon, and begin crossing the Great Bahama Bank. The plan is to work our way toward the Northwest Channel, then cross the Tongue of the Ocean to the west end of New Providence Island. From there, we’ll continue on to Highborn Cay and into the Exhumas. Sailing plans are always subject to change—but that’s the route for now. #bahamas #sailing #exumas #greatbahamabank #saltyabandon
