This Aviation has: 2 ½ ounces of gin ¾ ounce lemon juice (fresh squeezed) ½ ounce Luxardo Liqueur ½ ounce Creme de Violette 1 Luxardo cherry (optional) 1 strip of lemon peel for garnish Place gin (I used Empress Indigo Gin!), Luxardo liqueur, and Crème de Violette, lemon juice, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake the cocktail shaker until the shaker is cold and the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Pour the cocktail in a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry and a strip of lemon peel. Here is a quick little video I did while out sailing on a 2015 Catana Bali 4.3 in the Virgin Islands. I hadn't sailed a Bali 4.3 yet, and was impressed with how well she sailed in the 8 knots of breeze we had. The owner's cruising plans have changed, and have decided to move on.
