In this video I show how to tie the Roundturn and two half hitches. We use this knot if we want to attach a rope to a ring. The Anchor Hitch is a super secure knot which tightens on itself when load is applied. It is really simple to tie, all you need is two round turns. One over the top of the item you are securing your fender to and the second one on top of the first. The Anchor hitch will become really tight making it hard to undo after load has been applied, making it a great option if you want to lock your rope tight against a fixed object. The team at bottom up boats has lots of addition hitches to fix your rope to a fixed object you can check out several of this in our Fender Knot Playlist.
