Facciamo che la giornata oggi inizia con i turni al timone, che è un po’ un modo per dire che non abbiamo chiuso occhio 😂 No, scherzo, la prima notte è filata liscia. Andre ha preferito dormire fuori, durante le mie ore, mentre io non ci ho pensato due volte e nelle due orette di riposo mi sono buttata nel letto 😂 Il vento si è fatto attendere e noi abbiamo smotorato tutta la notte. Apri vela, chiudi vela perché non sta aperta. Riapri vela, richiudi. Così fino alle 7 circa. Dopo una riunione di lavoro che sta diventando la routine del mercoledì, il vento ha fatto il suo ingresso trionfale in scena. 0 onde, 10/12 nodi di vento. Subito su la randa e il genoa e via a 6-7-8 nodi di avanzamento. Il motore riposa dopo il duro lavoro di ieri mentre noi voliamo verso Santo Domingo, dove avremo un appuntamento nel weekend. 🤐 Nel pomeriggio affianchiamo Porto Rico, dove non ci fermeremo perché non abbiamo il visto specifico per entrare con la barca, e a un tratto vedo una barca che ci punta. Ecco, i pirati. È fatta, ho pensato. Saluta i pc, il generatore, ciao tutto. Invece era la guardia costiera americana, in divisa militare con tanto di cannoni e fucili che ci avvertiva che poco più a sud si stava svolgendo un’esercitazione e quindi di girare largo. La questione ci tocca poco perché abbiamo una rotta diversa, ma ci emozioniamo lo stesso nel vedere questi marcantoni armati fino ai denti che sorridono alle telecamere. Mezz’oretta dopo sentiamo degli spari provenire dalla loro direzione e ringrazio che siano venuti ad avvertirci. Direi che come prima giornata di navigazione tutto è andato bene! Meteo perfetto, avanzamento perfetto, ho persino pescato! Era un pesciotto che si è slamato quasi subito. Meglio così perché era piccolino e non so nemmeno se avremmo potuto mangiarlo. Stanotte è previsto un peggioramento meteo (nelle storie la registrazione di Windy) ma siamo ottimisti e speriamo che scarichi prima di raggiungerci. Che dire, il mare mi era mancato! Ci vedremo nelle storie questa notte, che da voi sarà mattina e potremo tenerci compagnia. A presto Cami
