The Aegis 18CC was quite an interesting find at the Miami boat show; this center console fishing boat is derived from the McKee Craft line of V-hull boats. Our senior editor Lenny Rudow took a quick ride on the Aegis and we shot this First Look video, to share his discovery with you. http://features.boats.com/boat-content/2014/03/2014-aegis-18cc-first-look-video/ For more boat videos, visit http://www.boats.com.
Tschüss 2 Claims IRC Super Zero Victory at the 2025 Rolex Fastnet Race Christian Zugel’s Tschüss 2 (USA70000), co-skippered by Johnny Mordaunt, has taken the win in the highly competitive IRC Super Zero division at the centenary edition of the Rolex Fastnet Race. The VO70 completed the iconic offshore course in an elapsed time of 2 days, 17 hours, and 21 minutes, crossing the finish line off Cherbourg at 05:11 BST on 29 July 2025. With a TCC of 1.617, Tschüss 2 corrected out to a final time of 4 days, 9 hours, and 40 minutes — edging ahead of high-calibre rivals including Roy Disney’s Pyewacket 70 and the 30m Leopard 3, skippered by Chris Sherlock. The win caps off an outstanding season for the former Groupama 4 VO70, originally skippered by Franck Cammas in the Volvo Ocean Race. Now flying the flag for the United States, Tschüss 2 continues to build an impressive offshore racing legacy under Zugel’s leadership. #RolexFastnetRace #Tschüss2 #IRCZero #OffshoreRacing #RORCracing #VO70
