The Athena 38 is renowned for its performance, reliability, and easy handling, making it a favored choice among bluewater cruisers and coastal sailors alike. With a shallow draft and a generous beam, this catamaran offers excellent stability, ample deck space, and a bright, airy salon perfect for entertaining or relaxing during long passages. The fiberglass construction ensures durability while keeping maintenance straightforward and manageable. In 2010, the vessel received a significant propulsion upgrade with twin Yanmar 3YM30 engines, each showing less than 2,000 hours of use, delivering trusted power and fuel efficiency. For peace of mind underway, the standing rigging was replaced in 2018. This Athena 38 is fully equipped for extended cruising with a high-output Spectra watermaker producing 16 gallons per hour, 400 watts of solar panels, and a robust 300Ah Renogy lithium house bank. A 50 amp DC to DC charger further ensures your energy needs are fully met, letting you enjoy ultimate autonomy while at anchor or offshore. Take advantage of this opportunity to own a proven, ready-to-go cruising catamaran. Minimal preparations are needed to set sail for your next adventure this season! I had someone bump into my rear bumper yesterday with out even leaving a scratch and my headrest's deployed. I'm not one to take my car in for something so simple like this and after reviewing everything on line and the owners manual i was a little frustrated with how long it took me to find the reset button so i wanted to make this video to help all of you out there. I hope that you find this helpful. Note: you have to push back the molding to find the slot where the provided tool fits into and then when you push down you will hear a click. Remove tool and push the headrest back into place.
