The first Wednesday night race of Strangford Lough Yacht Club 2025 season got under way in perfect sailing conditions. With 8 to 10 knots of breeze and blue skies the sailing season could not have got off to a better start. As the sunset in the west two River class yachts were locked in a tight battle. As they glided under the setting sun on a picture perfect evening of racing finished with a sailing sunset. The team at bottom up boats an excited that the 2025 season is up and running. When it's too cold to go sailing, we turn to the Camden Snow Bowl for the annual US Toboggan National Championships! The crew at Lyman-Morse used our boatbuilding craftsmanship to build toboggans out of the traditional material of wood, but also out of carbon fiber. Winter gets a bad rap in Maine, but we love it just as much as summer.
