I capsized the Duo dinghy in a controlled test a couple of years ago. Here you see me capsizing it, righting it and then sailing away. You can see it is very stable, the tubes add a huge amount if extra stability and act as fenders when coming alongside, yet are not in the water in normal use. The Duo is a 2 sheet plywood dinghy that was built in 2 days. It can be rowed, sailed or motored. A nesting option is available. You can buy plans and see more details here http://sailingcatamarans.com/index.php/designs-2/46-beach-cats-and-dinghies/420-duo-10ft-sailrow-dinghy (this video has no audio)
A short clip from our latest release, which looks at basic boat electrics. We have a look at a typical 12V installation, including AWG wire gauge charts, how to calculate voltage drop, ways to reduce resistance and how to troubleshoot circuit issues. All in an easy to follow, animated tutorial, created in Blender3D. 👍 Don't forget to Like, Share, and Subscribe for More Adventures! #SailingAdventure #learntosail #sailingtutorials #tutorials #sailinglife #yachtlife #travel #adventure #blender3d #blender #animation https://www.skipperblogs.com/searchingforcoconuts Theme song: (Audio Network) Aotearoa (Mark Williams, Adam Alexander, Bruce Maginnis) For those who wish to contribute to help keep our journey going, please use our Patreon link below, or donate through PayPal (link is on channel banner), much appreciated. https://www.patreon.com/searchingforcoconuts https://searching-for-coconuts.skipperblogs.com/
