We sold our home at the beginning of the pandemic (May 27th, 2020) and moved aboard our Seawind 1600 #catamaran, Wanderlust, in September. We plan to sail her to Harbors Unknown, and explore the world’s vast cultures through food, a common thread amongst people everywhere. Connecting with people and places through the local cuisine, and showing how those dishes can be cooked on a boat with limited space and resources. We share our adventures as a sailing couple living on a boat and how it’s possible to live an #alternativelifestyle that provides freedom and fulfillment. When we sailed the Costa Brava in the northeast part of Spain, we enjoyed especially the bay of Begur, the village of Fornells and an area called Aiguablava. It has beautiful cliffs and little beaches. On the internet it said it’s a favorite among locals in Spain and it was weekend, so we saw a lot of families walking around or sitting on the beach. The background sounds that you hear on the boat during the day, of children playing and running around on the beach, adults talking and laughing and the smells of BBQ coming your way, gives a real holiday feeling!
