Frauscher is once more redefining the luxury day cruiser segment with the introduction of the 747 Mirage. The name “Mirage” refers to an optical phenomenon, as well as high-performance aircraft, giving the boat an aura of mystery. The 747 Mirage continues the approach Frauscher initiated with the previously launched 858 Fantom, both designed by studio KISKA, alongside hydrodynamic expert Harry Miesbauer. The features of the 747 Mirage are more radical however. Not only are they suggestive of supercar design, they also emphasize Frauscher’s racing heritage.

This converted Admiralty Launch vessel is moored on a residential berth in the middle of Greenland dock conveniently located between London Bridge and Docklands on the jubilee and overground lines and nestled in a vibrant boating and local community. If you are looking for a 2 bedroom home or a great place to work from home the combination of saloon wheelhouse, galley, lounge and cabins offers great flexibility in the use of the spaces. It has has a split level with the saloon seating and dining table on the upper level midships with access to the lounge towards the back, and to the galley master cabin and shower room to the front. The lounge has a wood burning stove and wall mounted tv creating a more snug like layout with side windows and double back door access to the canvased deck space, which is useful for storing equipment and logs for the fireplace. This room has a sofa bed so could be the master bedroom or the lounge / guest bedroom. The clever layout of the brightly painted galley has a full size fridge freezer, 4 hob gas cooker and lots of easily accessible storage. The master cabin double bed and under bed storage is located towards the front of the boat. Porthole windows and opening roof lights add charm and detail to the room. The engine room is located under the wheel house saloon in the centre of the boat, containing tanks, electrics batteries etc. Located on a residential mooring in a well run and popular marina, the sale price of boat includes the 10% of selling price payable to Southwark Council for the transfer of the residential licence fee. The boat can be sold with out the licence and off the mooring and the sale price would be adjusted accordingly.

Once again, we are reminded why schedules are a sailors worse enemy. While we wanted to show our friends Shroud Cay, we decided to head south from Warderick Wells to get at least one day of good sailing before the winds shifted. Had we not, we would have had at least one more day of motoring with the winds and the waves on the nose. Rather than head out in the sound, where we were expecting worse conditions, we decided to stay on the Bahamas Bank side. Yes, it would be a longer distance, but we wanted to see the West Side of Great Exuma Island. We had a great night at Little Farmers Cay. Were able to pick up three huge lobster tails from a local fisherman on the last day of the season. Then we head on over to Ty's for a bonfire at sunset. We got a great nights sleep but needed to weigh anchor early to make our way to about 1/2 of the distance to Hog Cay Cut. We anchored on the southwest side of Coakley Cay (Flamingo Cay) at the end of a "tongue" of deep water. All of the charts showed something different for this region. We spun around at anchor all night despite winds in the 15kn range. The current must have been pretty strong there, something we had not expected. Suffice it to say, I didn't get much sleep due to being woken by the bridle on the bob stays. HJog Cay is a shallow cut on the south side of Little Exuma Island needs to be taken at high tide. We woke at 6am and intended to weigh anchor at 6:30. We're glad we started earlier than this because the bridle had somehow gotten caught underneath the starboard hull...very weird.
