We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Is bareboat chartering naked sailing? No! Here's what bareboat chartering is. Bareboat chartering is renting a boat without a skipper and driving yourself. Just like renting a car. Now what you can also do, is you can add a skipper onto that bareboat rental so that you don't have to do the driving, you're not the one stressing out when you come into dock and he can take care of that for you. Another thing you can also add on to that is a hostess who will cook your meals for you and clean up a little bit, but don't forget she's not your maid.
