The CLEAT HITCH: Good OR Bad? Tell Us What You Think! 👍 LIKE if you find the Cleat Hitch reliable and essential for secure docking. 👍 LIKE and 💬 COMMENT if you prefer the 0800 or other docking methods. Let's hear Nick's opinion and of course, feel free to leave your opinion on this popular boat tying technique! Share your thoughts below. ⚓️ =========================== Transcript Exactly why we go on about not doing hitches. I've just come up to this, it's very tight and someone's gone around and done a hitch straight away. Now if you had of done a couple of turns and things before you did this cleat hitch maybe that would help but right now that is rock solid and it's really hard to get off especially in an emergency. So I'm gonna have to roll it. It's just not what I call efficient. Had it been like that and then like that and then you put your cleat hitch on fine. But we just don't do the cleat hitches and that's why! =========================== Looking to sail in Croatia?
