Joe Woods and Red were having a good regatta on San Francisco Bay, when one small error, a round up while setting the chute in Race 6 of the 2010 Melges Worlds, led to disaster. Red continued on immediately after the crash but retired when damage to the boat and an injured crewman made continuing to race unsustainable. Per chi non ci conosce ancora, siamo Andrea e Camilla, l’estate passata ci siamo trasferiti a bordo della barca di famiglia nella quale, fino a ora, avevamo navigato nel mediterraneo. L’11 agosto abbiamo mollato gli ormeggi da Lignano Sabbiadoro, in Friuli, per iniziare un viaggio incredibile. Abbiamo percorso tutto il mediterraneo, da est a ovest, fino a Gibilterra. Già solo fino a qui (Cadice) ne sono capitate da scriverci un libro. Domani si apre il secondo capitolo di questo viaggio. Se è vero che più si va avanti e più si raccolgono tesori, noi sentiamo il cuore che scoppia di ricchezza. Non è che l’inizio. Con il cuore, a domani ❤️ Cami
