It’s finally time to cross the Atlantic. All the lights are green, Tiboulen hoists the sails as it leaves the port of Mindelo, sailing alongside three other Jeanneau boats from different generations. ⛵ For most of the crossing, Sail for Tomorrow were on the same tack (port tack at 150° to the wind), with the same sail configuration (wing-on-wing, genoa poled out), and more or less the same speed (5.7 knots on average). The crew experienced some incredible moments during this crossing. Fishing was a highlight, halfway through, they crossed paths with one of the three Jeanneau sailing boats. DICEMBRE 2019 Il nostro fidato Eurovinil è scaduto da un paio di anni. Sfortunatamente in tutto il Pacifico, dalla Polinesia Francese alle Fiji, dalla Nuova Caledonia all'Australia non è stato possibile trovare una stazione di revisione. La Eurovinil ci ha consigliato di recarci al più presto a Singapore per effettuare la revisione 😝. Abbiamo deciso di provare ad aprirlo: tutto ha funzionato perfettamente. A malincuore, dopo aver recuperato il materiale salvabile abbiamo buttato tutto nel cassonetto.
