Extreme weather in Montenegro!! The Bora wind is not uncommon in the Adriatic but this one was the worst in many years with some boats wintering with us in Porto Montenegro seeing 99kts! We recorded 79kts on Intrepid Bear! The team on J109 GTR owned the start of race 2 of the 2024 Narrows Series, with light wind and lots of bumping and barging behind them their lead grew quickly as they glided out into the strongest part of the tide which brought up their apparent wind allowing the to extend a bing lead after only a few minutes of racing.
