Sailing 800 miles upwind to the Caribbean might have been our best passage ever! Normally right on the nose we had a light wind close reach/close hauled passage just before Christmas when we sailed from the Bahamas direct to St Martin. The Melonseed Regatta at Mystery Bay was the first invitational event for Gig Harbor Boat Works boat owners. GHBW invited Melonseed owners to join up, meet one another and sail their boats together on a gorgeous summer day. It was quite a success and we hope to have more meetups in the future!
