The marina takes on a different persona when the sun stays low and the cold winds start to blow. I went to check on “Moments in Time” during the winter solstice. The boats on the hard were whistling in the wind, the sounds of laughter and tinking of drinks from the pool area had long departed, droning of harbor traffic remained eerily silent, and the lapping of waves had become more pronounced. I watched the sun reached its zenith over Moments in Time as shared in the last frames of the video. It was cold so I did not linger long. Feel free to comment and let us know your thoughts. A little test-fire of the Cubic Mini Grizzly. The stove is mostly installed. I need to finish the ceiling trim and the heat shields behind the chimney. But, a quick fire during happy hour didn’t hurt anything. What a difference this stove makes to the comfort of a sailboat! Wow. I am really looking forward to getting it going in earnest…and the timing is perfect as the temps are going to be minus double-digits next week. 🥶
