Erraid is a small, rugged tidal island, one mile square, considered to be one of the driest, sunniest spots on the west coast of Scotland. It is located at the tip of the Ross of Mull. Read our guest blog from Moonshadow Yacht Charters on their visit: https://www.sailscotland.co.uk/news/posts/2017/the-isle-of-erraid/ Scotland offers sailing as it should be… there’s space and freedom. And the choice to do a lot – or do next to nothing – in this spectacular setting. It’s uncrowded and unspoilt, and life here moves at a different pace. They eat fresh seafood at stylish cafes and vibrant marinas. They enjoy the friendly traditional pubs. They browse shops in bustling coastal towns and villages. They picnic on beaches that are near-deserted, even in the height of summer. Or just sit and watch the tides, the sunsets and the stars.
