This is a bit of a different sailing vlog. So many doing this, making video's about sailing, start off with.. "We sold everything, bought a sailboat and we don't know the first thing about sailing! Join us on our adventure!" (Yikes!) I was lucky and I know it. I learned to sail and in general "mess about on boats" since afore I could walk. My family is from Ball's Neck in Northumberland County, Virginia on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay. So as a child I learned to walk and swim hand in hand. I also learned to handle boats of all types. For me the real joy was learning how to sail. Sunfish, sailfish, sailing dinghies and cruising and racing yachts. We now liveaboard full time. I crew in as many Chesapeake Bay Regattas and Races as I can get a crew spot in. I am available as able crew for short or long distance Deliveries. On this channel I share with my crew mates, and anyone interested, our time on the water racing and cruising the Chesapeake Bay. I hope you enjoy.
