Our boat is a 1974 Alden Dolphin 47. Hull 9 of 13. We have taken on this extraordinary project that has been a labor of love (or maybe we are just crazy) and learning as we attempt to bring this 50 year old "classic" lady back to her full glory and sail her once again. This is our journey as we go thru the process of highs and lows, good and bad of boat restoration and retro fit, continued maintenance and now adventures as we travel from place to place as the wind blows us. Join us in the adventure and journey as we “Never Stop Learning”. After a 3 1/2 yr refit, we are now ready to set sail and start cruising. As of April 2025 we have left the dock and are finding our way on this new journey and our new life, traveling with our dogs and enjoying all that we encounter.
