We sail from Naousa to Kalantos Bay in Naxos and discover a quieter, more rural side of the Cyclades. After anchoring, we row ashore, walk around the bay and visit the two local tavernas, taking in the landscape and the slower pace of island life. A simple day of sailing, exploring and enjoying Greece from the water. ⛵️🇬🇷

35 knots of wind turned our dinghy upside down, leaving us wondering what happened to the Torqeedo battery! We retrieve the dinghy and motor, open up the battery to check for water, make some pancakes, take a short beach walk… and later things get even worse when we break the Torqeedo propeller! A little bit of drama, some DIY repair and another normal day of sailing life in Greece.

We leave Merihas in Kythnos and sail to Paros, arriving at beautiful Naousa. Then we explore the town by bike and on foot, discovering its whitewashed streets, blue water and charming harbor. ⛵️🚲

We leave our anchorage near Nafpaktos and sail downwind across the Gulf of Corinth towards the small Greek island of Trizonia. The sailing is easy and enjoyable all the way, with the wind behind us as we make our way across the Gulf of Corinth. When we arrive at Trizonia, we discover something every sailor loves - a free spot in the island's small marina! After settling in, we leave Indara and explore Trizonia on foot, wandering around the island and taking a water taxi across to the mainland. We also walk to the beautiful and unusual Red Beach, one of the highlights of our visit. Have you discovered oil under your Yanmar engine, especially around the raw water pump? That's exactly what happened on our Yanmar 4JH4-E. We noticed an oil leak beneath the engine on the raw water pump side and traced it to the raw water pump gasket. In this detailed DIY (NOT) tutorial, I show every step of replacing the gasket, inspecting the impeller, and dealing with one of the trickiest parts of the job - removing the timing belt. I deliberately filmed the repair slowly so you can clearly see each step if you're doing this maintenance yourself. The best part? After completing the repair, we put it to the test during our sailing trip aboard Indara, our Najad 380. ✅ More than 60 engine hours later, the engine remains completely dry with no leaks whatsoever.
