Sailing vs Plastic is an independent open project that aims to bring practical eco-conscious awareness into the general public that plastic pollution is a reality in our shorelines and oceans and that we are able to change minimum behaviours contributing to big positive consequences. Starting September 2017 from The Netherlands, with an expected sailing time of a year untill arrival in New Zealand, will show the beauty of the oceans, earth, people and cultures while undertaking the challenges of a plastic-conscious project. No extreme behaviours are to be taken, with awareness as a key element for the project.
