Welcome! We are an American family that enjoys sailing, exploring the wilds in our home state of Alaska, and traveling the world. In the summers we live aboard our Fountaine Pajot Astrea sailing catamaran and during the school year we live in Alaska. We have lived in Germany, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Mississippi. Hobbies include: sailing, mountain biking, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, spear-fishing, stand-up-paddleboarding, some DIY projects at home and aboard, vintage and thrift shopping, and camping. We recently purchased a 1989 Toyota Sunrader 21-foot camper, and we are excited to convert "Willie" into our ski-mobile for our favorite winter ski-destination in Alaska at Alyeska Resort. Follow along as we make mistakes, butcher DIY projects, plan adventures, raise kids, and hopefully enjoy as much of this planet as we can squeeze into our tiny lifetimes.
