You never want that much water inside your boat! I just freaked out! With our huge water tanks pouring all over the boat I didn't even know it was happening till the water was at my feet! We had about 500 liters or 132 gallons of water on the floor of our boat And i had no clue where it was coming from! We had some much work to do and they told us we had to stop... We didn't stop, and they told us they would call the cops Its a mad rush to get everything done, and we had no time to spare, we just had to pull out all the stops to make it happen. we got no sleep and worked our butts off! After weeks of prep, fighting weather, and everything else going wrong! Its done, we got the paint on and it looks amazing. We love it! If you could paint a boat any color what would it be? We are hull deep in our big refit! There is so much going on and so little time! We started this so we have to finish it, but that means doing many things at once... Many many things! Supernova is out of the water and getting a fresh new look in Mallorca! Join us at STP Boatyard as we haul out, prep the hulls, and get ready to paint the topsides in a bold, beautiful colour. You’ll see all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into a proper paint refit - ripping off that sun-damaged blue wrap, applying filler and primers, heaps of sanding, getting prepped for new bottom paint and that's just the beginning. We’re using International Yacht Paint - prepping with Gelshield 200 primer before we move on to Micron99 bottom paint and finally we'll be finishing with the glossy Perfection Pro topsides. After the hardest crash yet we have to cut the vinyl to see if there is any damage to the hull. We also need to leave! Just a couple more things need to fall into place and we can leave.
