It was HOT and HUMID on the boat at end of workday so we had to find a way to cool off. How do you cool off at the end of your work day?

We did our prep work for a short journey and all predictions said we would be going into the wind and waves but that waves would start at 2 ft on 4 sec and go to 1 1/2 ft on 4 seconds. We thought that would be good for a motor for a 2 1/2 hour journey. The Predictions were wrong and we got much larger waves. Just made the journey a little bit more rocky than expected.

We finally get to a spot to pick up our first mooring ball. it wasn't easy or without complications but we got it. We will definitely have things set up different next time.

in less than 12 hours we went from high winds, rain, lightening to dead Calm. Mother Nature's is definitely showing her bipolar side today. Both sides can be beautiful but I prefer her Calm side!

After months of refit and repairs we finally get to make our First passage. Not enough wind to actually sail but it didn't matter to us. we were finally off on our adventures!

We found out we were not ready to go after just 24 hours on anchor. We broke parts and need to replace a couple big ticket items. Not the way we wanted to start our journey. We will have more on all this in a few weeks in regular videos.

It was time for us to leave the Marina. We decided to leave and go anchor for a week to test our systems and knowledge before heading south. This was the moment we had been working towards.

We went to take our sailboat out the Ft Pierce Inlet for our second time for a shakedown sail. We had sail issues so we had to come back into the inlet with an outgoing tide and incoming east wind. We did not know that combination made the inlet rough as we are new to inlet currents and tides. Made for a fun surfing ride back into the inlet. Went to Jetty Park Beach today to see if we thought the washed out beach might be worth taking our metal detector to search for treasures. The beach erosion was more than we thought but I believe we will plan a trip back with the detector. never know what kind of treasures you might find!

Starlink SpaceX Rocket launch from Cape Canaveral tonight. We got to watch the best Rocket launch from our boat since being on the space coast. One of the many things we have been looking forward to. Perfectly clear sky to watch.
