It's part celebration, part initiation, with lighthearted contests, plenty of laughter, and good vibes all around. And as always, it all ends with dancing into the night. In May 2019, the 3rd PAPA Regatta took place for the first time in Croatia. Although the weather was unusually cool and overcast for the season, it brought steady winds - ideal conditions for competitive sailing. While there was no time for swimming, no one had to sit idle waiting for the wind either. The action never stopped. PAPA Regatta 2018 took place in the scenic coastal town of Marmaris, located in Turkey's Mu?la Province, during late April and early May. The event brought together 80 passionate sailors from Russia and Ukraine, who competed across 10 yachts in a spirited and challenging series of races. This video captures the experience from the inside - through the eyes of the crew aboard the high-performance racing yacht Steve Wonder 2, provided by the charter company SK Yachting. Designed for speed and agility, the yacht performed exceptionally well even in light wind conditions. Its enormous sail area and precision wind-tracking instruments allowed it to hold sharp upwind courses, getting as close as 15 degrees to the wind - a rare capability in competitive sailing. Due to its high handicap rating, the crew had to finish at least 40 minutes ahead of the fleet to win - a goal that proved difficult in such a highly competitive environment. As a result, the team secured only second place overall. We extend our gratitude to the creators of the video - the production team at Visuals @visuals6785, the Sea School Finist @seaschool4738 for their dedication to sailing mastery, and @SKYachting for providing an exceptional racing yacht that made this journey unforgettable. #PAPARegatta #PAPARegatta2018 #ArtOfSailing #Yachting #Sailing #VisualsArt #SeaSchoolFinist #SKYachting
