Sometimes I get frustrated that I can’t work as much as I’d like because of the heat. Because of it, there are times when I feel like I’m just melting into a puddle. But I can’t say that I’m particularly upset about it. I’m mostly just patiently waiting for the season to change a little and continuing to work. In this video, I also reflect on how much my perspective has changed on what I actually need to start sailing, compared to all the ambitious plans I had in the very beginning. If you’re interested in joining a sailing experience on the frigate Shtandart, you can find different options on their website: https://shtandart.eu They take volunteers, trainees, and also regular participants for voyages. There are also opportunities to take part in ship maintenance when the vessel is in port. This video is probably the one I worked on the longest before releasing it. I had to rewrite it many times because I really wanted to capture what I felt during that week, but every version kept coming out too cheesy) It’s not easy to talk about something powerful without it turning sentimental.
