This video showcases the exceptional aerodynamic and hydrodynamic efficiency of the iFLY RAZZOR Pro in ultra-light wind conditions. iFLY achieves stable flight and high speeds where most foiling craft remain stuck in displacement mode. Taking off in light wind is not inherently difficult per se. Even low-tech boats can lift off with sufficiently large sails and oversized foils. The true engineering challenge lies in combining early takeoff with high speed, superior flight stability, and precise control - and maintaining this performance consistently across a wide wind range. The iFLY RAZZOR Pro meets these demanding criteria through: - Active foil control system FlySafe® - Advanced foil design and construction - on a technological level comparable to SailGP, TF35 and America's Cup foils - Mainfoil Differential T-Foil (MDT) - increasing righting moment by actively using the windward foil for downforce. The mainsheet stays tight, using the windward foil to create downforce Unlike conventional designs that rely on brute-force sail area and oversized foil area to get airborne - often at the cost of speed and control - the iFLY RAZZOR Pro maintains efficiency across the full wind range - from light breeze to strong winds over 25 knots and rough sea states. This makes the iFLY RAZZOR Pro truly unique in the sub-35ft category. Comparable performance is only found in the admirable TF35, a marvel of high-tech engineering, and in the elite ranks of SailGP's F50 and the AC40/75 foiling yachts. On the small-boat stage, the foiling Moth remains a benchmark for light wind performance and agility - though it caters to a very specific and extremely skilled type of sailor. The same applies to the impressive foiling A-Cat.

Unforgettable foiling experience at the Wild Cat Regatta in beautiful Forster, New South Wales! Sailing at the Great Lakes Sailing Club, we enjoyed showing the incredible capabilities of the iFLY15, foiling in soft breezes of around 4 to max. 9 knots of wind speed and reaching boat speeds of up to 23 knots. The stunning natural scenery, dolphins in the water, and a breathtaking landscape made the event even more special. A huge thank you to all the amazing sailors who welcomed us so warmly! We had a fantastic time sharing the iFLY experience with fellow foiling enthusiasts and demonstrating the boat's stable flight attitude. (Just a heads-up: We don't pay professional sailors to make our boats look good-we sail them ourselves with friends and fellow foiling enthusiasts. No influencers, no paid content-just pure passion for sailing!) Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more foiling action and updates from our iFLY Australia Tour! https://www.instagram.com/ifly15 https://iFLYsail.com

Review of two Foiling A Class catamaran sailors, talking about their experience with iFLY RAZZOR Pro. (short cut). Foiling solo and double on iFLY. Hear directly from these experienced sailors as they share their thoughts and insights on sailing the iFLY RAZZOR Pro on Cayman Islands - Dragon Bay Sailing Club. -- Alun Davies: Olympian in the Tornado class: "What a boat! it feels like it's meant to be there. Born to fly." "It's way easier than the A Cat. With the A Cat, you are just on the edge!" "It's an incredible boat! And it's just a lot more relaxing ... ... and doing the same speed as on an Acat!" "What a beast! You are praying it doesn't go any faster! Yeah, please don't go any faster!" "And it flies so stable, it just doesn't want to land! -- Phil Cater, foiling Acat sailor, Grand Cayman: "This is my first day on trying out the brand new to the club iFLY15. I am an Acat sailor and this is the first time I have tried this. Certainly, it is a lot more stable. And we are getting up in very light winds. I had a great flight! and a lot more steady flying downwind than I've been doing on the Acat" "It's a lot more flight time." "That was a great, pleasant experience... and she is very forgiving". https://iFLYsail.com/

When you learn to foil, you can endure the hard way - or you can enjoy a fast and fun learning curve, on the most forgiving foiler available, the iFLY15. Even after rookie errors, in most cases, you will not even end up capsizing the boat. The natural stability of its design is so pronounced, that it takes major handling errors to finally flip her. If it happens then, it is extremely easy to right the ship. No righting line is even required. Just step on the daggerboard and hold on to the upper mainfoil. The foils are so stable that it is impossible to damage them in this way. Enjoy learning this high-speed sport without taking excessive risks. The good-natured behavior of the high-tech racing machine allows rapid progress. Very quickly you advance into the premier class, with light wind foiling, foiling gybes, or foiling in strong winds and rough sea state. More Information: https://iflysail.com/

First part of the video was filmed from a Windsurfer chasing the iFly. Andreas Hansen, new iFLY owner and Hobie 16 sailor about his first iFLY sessions in Kos, Greece: « The scene where we wear helmets (annotation: at the end of the video) was our very first session on iFly. Due to previous persistent 6-7 Bft. we didn't dare going out with the new boat in the first few days of our vacation. - We had never foiled before. Then, on the fourth day, the wind was force 5 Bft. and the tingling in the fingers was greater than the worry that we might be completely overwhelmed and what the boat could do to us?! We went out with helmets and of course staff of the water sports center followed us curiously with the motorboat. After about 20 minutes of trying it out, we managed to be quite stable in flight mode. What is unusual for a die-hard Hobie 16 sailor is the direct control with the smallest deflection and the fact that the lee hull can go up first or how you land safely from the air into the water again. These are simply different speeds at which the foiling boat moves forward. During our sailing in Kos, with often strong winds (5+ Bft) sideshore, we sometimes had waves of 1.3 meters outside of the bay. IFly's automatic flight control system had it's hands full and it is working surprisingly well in those rather rough conditions. When heading with the wave, after sailing up the wave and having reached the "breaking edge", the crew gets a thrilling view of the wave trough, always with the hope that the boat will not fall down those 2 meters. To our greatest surprise, iFly was able to handle those situations very well. We only observed some very rare, short spinouts (annotation: those can be avoided with some experience). The automatic elevator system is a huge help for us Hobie sailors, who sometimes just love to fly fast above the water or just chase wind surfers ?. Thank you for building such a great boat that makes it really easy to say "I Fly!" »

the iFLY RAZZOR pro is the iFLY15 on steroids. Watch it surfing in a built sea state, with oversized rig, mainfoil differential T-Foil Technolgy (MDT), auxiliary headsail CodeF. Sailing with Yousef Alabkal, Kuwait national sailing team: « it was mind blowing - like nothing I ever tried before - so smooth - so stable - so fast - acceleration was like nothing I've ever experienced before. I have sailed fast boats, but they are like Volkswagen Beatles, compared to this, now. It is insane, absolutely insane! » iFLYsail.com

#DoubleTrapeze #iFLY15 #Foiling double in the trapeze with the i'FLY15 for the first time with coach. Nice review : Philip Walker, recreational / family sailor from Switzerland, Lake Murten: « As a mid-40 year-old with 3 young children, a busy life, moderate fitness, some past but no recent sailing and windsurfing experience, but absolutely no catamaran experience; I watched the same iFly15 youtube videos you have, I eyed the price tag and then for a long while I just sat there on the fence with excuses. When was I really going to find the time to sail the thing, was this not just an expensive mid-life crisis toy, was I even going to be able to sail it, how was I going to get it out of the harbour without crashing, could I right it if I capsized, what if I could not control it? The indecision was my comfort zone, not taking the plunge into the unknown was in my safe place. And then I finally took the plunge, I deserved something for me, and those youtube videos just looked like too much damn fun! Still feeling like this could be an expensive mistake, Michael came to assemble the boat, and to be honest gave me a crash course in all things catamaran. We went out on the water together, the two of us out on the trapeze, and for several glorious runs we foiled, I was immediately hooked! Several weeks later came the tough part, just me, 11-15 knots of wind, white caps, and my iFly15. The excuses and fears came back. Last time it was easy, but that was all Michael, he isn't here now, this time it was just me. Apprehension, fear, the unknown. I followed the steps in setting the boat up, got the boat out without incident and despite my fears multiple foiling runs, out on the trapeze, speed, whining sound of foils in the water, the full monty! I capsized once and that was not because of being overpowered it was because I lost my footing, and righting the boat went smoothly and without incident. The secret of the iFly15 is it is a highly technical machine made to be easy to sail and incredibly accessible. It is compact with not too much sail area and it is very easy to take the power out of the sail and to comfortably sit in an upward position and catch your breath. Safe and in control, on my first day alone out on the water I finally understood what a great boat this is, and I absolutely love it! »

#HowToFoil #FoilingExperience #training First time ever foiling by dinghy sailor with the iFLY - a breathtaking experience. For enjoying the pleasure of foiling the iFLY, you do not necessarily need to be a young gun, athlete or equilibrist. Having never sailed on a catamaran and without any trapezing experience, Laser sailor Ivo from the Netherlands travelled to Garda for his individual iFLY coaching session. He was hoping to experience some foiling, but rather 2Up, together with his coach on the iFLY. Things turned out to be so different... After an impressive fast learing curve, Ivo found enough confidence to be foiling single handed. He achieved not only flying downwind, but also full foiling upwind, during his first day of trapezing. In the beginning, he preferred to stay seated on the trampoline, which allowed some nice foiling downwind. It is not a single case. During iFLY test sessions and at coaching of new iFLY owners we experience similar breath-taking success on regular skills. Read some testimonials: Philip Walker, recreational / family sailor from Switzerland, Lake Murten: « As a mid-40 year-old with 3 young children, a busy life, moderate fitness, some past but no recent sailing and windsurfing experience, but absolutely no catamaran experience; I watched the same iFly15 youtube videos you have, I eyed the price tag and then for a long while I just sat there on the fence with excuses. Safe and in control, on my first day alone out on the water I finally understood what a great boat this is, and I absolutely love it. » Taylor Benjamin Anderson, Hobie cat recreational sailor from Miami, after his first flight on iFLY: « I am at a loss for words to properly convey the feeling of sailing your boat but here is my best attempt: As a casual sailor with an average working knowledge of boats, I was extremely surprised how familiar the ifly 15 felt when I jumped on it to demo the boat in February of this year. I grew up sailing the Hobie family of catamarans but never raced and had never sailed a foiling craft but was immediately impressed by the self-leveling technology of the vessel. Michael, the inventor and builder assured me that I was able to focus on sailing the boat and not to be worried about trimming the foils. With just these few words of encouragement, I jumped on the ifly and found the boat to sail exactly like a traditional Hobie or Narca. Michael raised the jib, I brought her onto a broad reach and she really came alive. The vessel slowly raised above the chop, it was not jerky or scary, just a smooth ascent and then speed. We were clipping along at at least 15 knots with no slapping hulls or the violent jarring when sailing in a fresh breeze and open water. The deck was stable with lightning quick responses of the boat from any trimming of tiller or sheet. It was an experience I had never felt or fathomed and I had only been on the boat 10 minutes! Michael was extremely patience and passionately shared his creation with me for several hours. This boat makes a seasoned sailor feel like they are experiencing sailing for the first time. It is an almost indescribable feeling, the ultimate harnessing of the wind. By the end of the afternoon, I felt confident that I could handle the boat alone and cannot wait to sail it again!!
