Just a test. RaceRender is a video editor with a focus on managing GPS data and providing gauge overlays. It's an alternative to GoPro Quick and Garmin VIRB Edit. I rendered the entire video in 4K with overlays to test no only overlays and GPS data management, but also the rendering perf.

Dave & Ceci test out the new GoPro Hero9 Black with a time run around Starnes Island. Sadly, the GoPro battery died after approx. 33 minutes and so a portion of our run was not filmed. Overall time was 40 min on the nose. Check out our Harpoon Dreams Unedited playlist to see the entire raw video. Or simply click here: https://youtu.be/NK9JkQVZU9I :)

Raw video of Dave & Ceci's timed training run around Starnes Island (from the mouth of Pool Canyon). Also experimenting with different GPS gauge overlays and how to incorporate those into our videos.

Just a very short test of video + GPS data overlays. Camera: GoPro Hero9 Black Software: GoPro.com GPS data extractor, Garmin VIRB video editor. This 20-sec clip took approx. 8-10 min. to render as an .MP4 video.

Did another timed run around Starnes Island and installed a clinometer. Here's a link to the clinometer we got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000AY6VK/

DaveFer takes Harpoon 394 on a first, timed run around Starnes Island in order to establish a baseline. By our estimates, this boat should be able to make this run in just 34 minutes in good conditions and with expert handling. Let's see how long it takes on this first, timed run. 0:00 Intro 0:12 Start 55:00 Outro
