Chris and Karen sailed Reposado soslo around the BVis together for 11 days then picked up three Reposado crew members: Paul, Shirley, and Danielle for 1o additional days.
This video illustrates the force of the wind while on a close hauled/close reach with one reef in the main and 2/3 of the Genoa out in 17 knots of wind with 23 knot gusts. Our speed over ground last week ranged from a comfortable 6.5 knots to 12.5 knots. As you may know, the Lagoon 450 is well known for its capability to sail in low wind and down wind. We also realized the 450's ability to provide a controlled and comfortable “banging up wind” experience during our 21 day trip around the BVIs.
Chris & Karen scheduling their non-scheduled time in the early hours of their vacation … how pathetic.
