We moored in this peaceful bay on August 13, 2021 ... the night before then tropical storm Grace (which became Hurricane Grace) chased us from this point in St. John to the marina in St. Thomas USVI.

This video illustrates the force of the wind while on a close hauled/close reach with one reef in the main and 2/3 of the Genoa out in 17 knots of wind with 23 knot gusts. Our speed over ground last week ranged from a comfortable 6.5 knots to 12.5 knots. As you may know, the Lagoon 450 is well known for its capability to sail in low wind and down wind. We also realized the 450's ability to provide a controlled and comfortable "banging up wind" experience during our 21 day trip around the BVIs.

We are experiencing a great week of sailing in the BVIs. Recommend that you don't hesitate to contact the Catamaran Company in Tortola to book a great sailing holiday in the BVIs. They have a fleet of great vessels for every budget. Go out and get some adrenaline pumping and earn some well deserved life points!!!
