"Boys! Did you know you can live on a sailboat and travel the world?" My brother exclaimed. That is how it all started. With no sailing experience and little money, we decided to start saving and learning all we could. This channel has documented the journey since the day we purchased our 33' sailboat over 7 years ago! "Bums" have come and gone throughout this adventure and only I, Joel, remain. The sailboat was purchased for 10 thousand US dollars and has successfully sailed 2,000 NM from St. Pete, Florida to Grenada completing the Thorny Path! Its now time to refit Chak Matay in the Caribbean before sailing on. We will also be gaining knowledge, experience, sea miles and documenting an epic delivery from Grenada to Dubai!
