In this video we take a mini tour around Barbados in 2026, exploring some of the island’s most interesting boating spots — both on and off the water. We start at the beautiful Port St Charles marina, where luxury yachts sit in crystal-clear turquoise water and beachfront homes have their boats moored right outside. With the Caribbean sea sitting at a warm 28°C, it’s not a bad place to begin the day. 🇧🇧🌊 From there we hop into our rather unusual “press car” and head across the island, stopping along the rugged Atlantic coast to take in some dramatic scenery — including the famous mushroom-shaped rock formation and stunning coastal views that feel very different from the calm west coast beaches. One of the most interesting stops is a small local boatyard, packed with character and filled with all sorts of boats in various stages of repair. From narrow skiffs and old MasterCrafts to simple fishing boats with Yamaha outboards, it’s a fascinating glimpse into the practical side of Caribbean boating. Finally, we head out onto the water aboard a catamaran sailing from Bridgetown, cruising along the west coast with beautiful beaches, calm seas and views of famous spots like Sandy Lane. Step aboard a 2014 Princess V62 S finished in sleek grey gelcoat, and park up next to a 2010 V62 for a proper side-by-side where we can see the key differences. Aboard the V62 S, we take in that huge sociable cockpit with sunpad over the tender garage—classic V/Targa/S-series vibes. We’re filming at sunny Essex Marina and giving you the full works: tour, review, and the numbers you always ask for.  Up top you’ll find a bright saloon with tasteful “facelift” touches, twin helm seats, updated screens and those satisfyingly retro CAT controls. Visibility through the screen is superb, and there are proportional thrusters plus opening side windows for easy docking. We are back from the Southampton Boat Show and in the office with our giveaway draw! Before the show we sent corks to some lucky customers, who if they took the cork to the show and popped their cork into the champagne bucket on our stand they were in with a chance to win a luxury charter weekend. 🍾⛵  Back at base, we mixed up the entries, covered the bucket so we couldn’t peek, and did the draw on camera 🎉  Huge congratulations to out winner, who will be enjoying a luxury weekend in Majorca this autumn. Here’s a quick wander through the 2025 Southampton Boat Show. We start by showing you where to find our new Fairline spot, tucked between the Princess and Bentley stands. 🧭  On the Fairline pontoon we rattle through the line-up: the fresh Targa 40 with its fold-down terraces, Targa 45 Open, another Targa 45 (GT), the Targa 50 with that smart black roof, and the elegant Squadron 58. Of course, there’s also Fairline Hospitality, a proper bar where you’ll probably find James! If you have been sent one of our giveaway corks - don't forget to bring it. 🍾 Then we skip over to Sea Ray to introduce Jake on the stand (be nice, it’s his first show!): you’ll see the Surf model, the 250, SPX 190, SPX 230, and a big-power twin-V8 Sea Ray that turns heads.
