Boat life wasn't everything we thought it would be. Some of it was, and some of it wasn't. We always knew we were taking a chance on something we might not enjoy, and now we know more of what we like and what we don't about living aboard our 40-year-old Albin trawler. We hit a few firsts on this trip: a tricky bridge, taking the dinghy to shore, and leaving our boat anchored alone. The nerves were real—even though nothing actually went wrong.
