We hit a few firsts on this trip: a tricky bridge, taking the dinghy to shore, and leaving our boat anchored alone. The nerves were real—even though nothing actually went wrong. After finally buying our new-to-us trawler and bringing Captain Karl along to teach us the ropes and help us learn to maneuver this giant thing called a boat, we’re ready to start the adventure solo!
