This week's episode is the true story of how our friends, a sailing family aboard 'Arco Iris' became shipwrecked on the remote island of Ilha dos Lençois, just a day after we had successfully navigated the same river system. They lost their home, their boat and nearly everything they owned. Showing remarkable resilience they managed to escape the island of Lençois aboard an open top catamaran by bartering what they could salvage from the wreck.
