There’s something about being out at sea that quiets everything else. 🌊 No noise, no rush—just wind in the sails and the rhythm of the water beneath you. Out here, time feels different. Slower. Softer. You start to notice the little things—the way the light dances on the waves, the steady pull of the tide, the feeling of being both small and completely free at the same time. It’s not just a journey across water… it’s a moment to breathe, to reflect, to just be. Sometimes, the sea doesn’t just take you somewhere new—it brings you back to yourself.
A little too close for comfort… a cruise ship passing less than a mile from us. We always make the call to confirm they’re aware of our position. They usually are, but it’s always better to be sure. ⚓🚢
An update from our Bay of Biscay crossing
We are about to set off on the delivery of a Lagoon FP44 catamaran from La Rochelle to Athens. We’re hoping for favorable conditions to cross the Bay of Biscay without too many challenges. The plan is to reach the Spanish coast first, then carefully choose the best weather windows to continue the passage safely and efficiently.
When the schedule says “go,” the weather says “maybe,” and the boat says “not today.” Behind every smooth ride is a lot of problem-solving you don’t see 👀⚓ Here’s the real talk about making it happen.
Ever realised how much the weather controls our journeys? Delays, detours, golden sunsets, unexpected storms… sometimes the forecast writes the story. 🌦️✨ ☀️ #WeatherWriters #JourneyNotDestination

Our next journey takes us all the way to Athens to deliver a beautiful Fountaine Pajot 44. Fresh out of the yard, there’s an extensive checklist to work through to ensure everything is exactly as it should be. It’s always exciting to head out to sea—now let’s hope the weather is on our side. And just to be safe, we’ll have Charlie from @myweatherrouter guiding us along the way.
A successful delivery is more than just hitting a deadline. In this video, we break down what truly defines success — from clear expectations to strong execution and real outcomes.
Clear communication, even far offshore. Using Garmin systems for navigation and tracking, combined with Starlink connectivity, we keep clients informed throughout the journey — sharing live position updates, route plans, weather insights, and progress in real time. No guesswork. Just transparency, safety, and peace of mind. ⛵📡
