Please note this was January 2020, before Covid-19 pandemic, and the lockdowns that would follow.

Our route to circumnavigate will put Aquarius on West side of Thailand, and our first stop with Aquarius will be Phuket or Krabi. Bangkok is on the other side of Peninsula, so, no way to get there on Aquarius unless we want to sail back down the Malacca Strait and around Singapore. We still have some business to do in Bangkok, and flights from Langkawi are cheap - so while Aquarius sits safely in a Langkawi Marina, Z and I hop a plane for Bangkok.
There we visit China Town, Famous Khao San Rd., ride Chao Phraya River back and fourth, stop at Wat Arun in Bangkok - Temple of Dawn, then BMK shopping mall, get good dose of massages and "view" the crazy food options. We finish our visit to Bangkok with River Dinner Cruise. Join us!

We move on and finally reach Lombok. We arrive to Medana Bay Marina where is kind of special - we meet another 2 rallies: Sail 2 Indonesia and ARC rally. The latter is circumnavigating the world in less than 1.5 years and there we had a pleasure meeting Niobe - Amel 50 where we toured it.
Lombok Wildlife park was a really cool place where we get to meet local animals and interact with them.
We also stopped in Gili Air - small touristy island not far from main island.
Marina Del Ray - our last destination in Lombok and we felt a bit like myth-busters taking the journey south via Lombok strait.

We were sailing up the Saudi coast and trying to drop the anchor in a tight spot close to Zatara. But, the prop just spun off the bow thruster. Now, we have to go through the process to fix it. This video shows how to repair the bow thruster while in the water.

On this episode of Sailing Vessel Triteia I prepare the decks for paint and lay down the first coat of Topside paint ( http://amzn.to/2BE2pM7).

Taping it off was super tedious but I got the job done and it made a WORLD of difference! I still need to do some nonskid I think because when the deck is wet its as slippery as ice. I have tons of footage of me putting her back together but that might be to boring for its own episode so we shall see.

They went for the 3 cabin version. On the starboard side is the owner’s hull and on the port side there are 2 cabins: a regular aft cabin and a custom forward cabin with a bunk bed, a wardrobe, a desk/workbench and a multitude of storage.

Sailing and schedule is a very bad combination and our race against the clock before our visa expired was exhausting. We tried to fix and prepare as much as possible before our longest sail ever before we finally could check out of Panama. On a boat, it's always something and of course, we had some last-minute things before we could say we were ready. ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
Sailing around the world in a Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever we have time for it. I used to sail singlehanded and occasionally have sailing friends onboard. But now the permanent crew aboard BE FREE is including Gee from Holland. We are now exploring the pacific ocean.

Even though this is season 5 on youtube I did not make that many videos in the beginning. Before full-time sailing, I sailed several seasons in the Medetorian prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and have also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and have been sailing ever since. Also, more than 10 years of experience in Search and Rescue at sea in Norway.
