Escapade is a 1998 Carver 530 Voyager Pilothouse, built in Pulaski, WI. When the Carver 530 Voyager line was introduced in 1998 it quickly became the flagship of the Carver fleet. Carver said at the time it invested 60,000 hours in the design of this luxury cruiser, and it was time well spent! The 530 Voyager Pilothouse retains Carver's trademark efficient use of interior space, while adding some European mega-yacht styling. This was all reflected in the $1M+ price-tag when the Carver 530 Voyager Pilothouse was introduced. The current owners of Escapade bought her in 2022 and and have been cruising the Great Loop on her (freshwater cruising 6 months, June 2024 thru Nov 2024) Escapade has been an extremely comfortable boat for the Great Loop and would also be a great live-aboard. While her Cummins engines can cruise efficiently at about 16 knots, the owners usually cruise at 8 - 9.5 knots at 1250-1400 RPM.
