Scylla was constructed in Queensland in 1989 but has just gone through a massive $80,000.00 refit. The mast and boom were stripped and repainted, all the standing rigging replaced and most of the running as well. Whilst off the boat the mast was rewired and new antennae and lights fitted. The dated instruments were replaced with top of the range Raymarine devices. During a recent antifoul all the thru hull fittings were replaced along with a new stern gland. Down stairs virtually all the wiring was replaced along with new electronic refrigeration system and internal LED lighting. During a recent engine service both fuel tanks were flushed and cleaned. Scylla is the sloop version of the Salar 40 with a large owners cabin to rear which has its own shower and head as well as the forward facing nav station. Within the main cabin is another enclosed shower and head, in-line galley and two further double berths. Scylla is ready to go anywhere in the world with her new owner in great comfort and safety.
